This customer had excessive coolant loss during vehicle use. Due to his catch can installed on the vehicle there was no oil/water mixture present. Due to this the customer used the vehicle as is for a lengthly period of time. After some consideration the customer decided to use Auto Repairers Perth for the engine change.

As seen in the pictures we installed a FORD Ranger 3.0L Diesel Engine which is interchangeable. Inserted a new dual mass clutch, timing kit and water pump. We serviced the engine with fresh oil and oil filter as well.
One satisfied customer with 6months warranty on this engine.
Toyota Hilux Intake Clean
Get back the power!
Customer has sluggish, missfire like symptoms in his 3.0l D4D Hilux. He decided to get a intake, throttle body and injector clean done with us.
The pictures illustrate the necessary clean that was executed.
After the clean was done and the vehicle run again, the difference was evident. More power, increased throttle response and increased fuel economy are some of the advantages.
Satisfied customer responded not long after collecting his vehicle, how surprised he was of the difference.
TOYOTA Hilux D4D - Power Loss

This booking was made on the day, we accept on the day bookings as well.
Customer reported sudden loss of power and suspected a turbo failure.
​
Upon inspection we found the turbo to be well in spec with no faults. We suspected a fuel or air shortage (blockage) or intake/boost leak. Upon investigation we found excessive sand and contaminants in the fuel filter and housing.
​
We cleaned the filter housing and replaced the filter. Vehicle ran as per normal. We requested the customer to monitor the vehicle and report back if the problem persists for a fuel tank inspection and flush.
​
We also suggested increasing the height of the tank breather.
​
We glad we could help the customer on such short notice.
Navara D22 Intake Clean and EGR Removal
Cleaner is Better
A Nissan Navara 2008 D22 had power loss, sluggish torque and decrease fuel economy.
Upon investigation we found the exhuast manifold cracked, the intake manifold blocked and excessive oil transfer into the intake.
We installed a new exhaust manifold that is crack resistant and it blanks off the egr system. We removed and cleaned the intake manifold and we installed a catch can to reduce oil going to the intake.
All in all, cleaner air going into the engine, the boost leak repaired and intake blockage cleaned gives us a smoother, more powerful and more economical engine.
Exactly what the customer was looking for, a great result at a decent cost.

Hyundai Getz Timing Kit
Importance of Scheduled Maintenance
Customer brought in his vehicle for a service after purchasing it.
During the inspection process we noticed the vehicle had passed its timing belt km scheduled check.
Customer was recommended to change the timing belt and replace with the full kit. We installed the kit, replacing all components in the timing system.
A ticking time bomb defused, one happy customer.
HYUNDAI Getz Engine Fitment
1.4L Engine Supplied by Customer
In this case the customer sourced his own engine for his daughters vehicle. Had the Engine delivered to us and requested engine to be fitted by us here at Auto Repairers Perth.

Straight forward, no major issues. We recommended a timing kit to be fitted which included all pulleys and belt. We serviced the engine with a new filter and oil as well. No further work was necessary. All up the bill came to under $1000.00 including labour.
BMW E46 Engine Fitment
1.9L 2000 3 Series Engine
This fitment was different to all the others as the steering rack was in front of the engine. Not a first time experience for us but definitely not a regular occurrence. Procedures are slightly different and the method of taking out the sub frame makes it a slightly more involved affair.

Alas, the engine was changed and inserted with a 1.9L E46 engine that runs beautifully. The throttle body was disassembled and cleaned to improve idling. Such a difference.
​
Although many other faults were found during the fitment on the vehicle, the customer has requested to have them done at a later stage due to budget.

AUDI S3 Turbo Fitment
Increase Power With A Recon Turbo
Upon arrival the Audi was smoking excessively. Turbo failure with continuous use can definitely lead to engine failure. Luckily in this case the engine was tested good. The Turbo had however shattered its boost side turbine. This leaves many tiny metal particles in the system which if not cleaned properly can lead to engine failure.

After cleaning the engine intake system and intercooler, we installed the reconditioned turbo and tested the vehicle. She slowly pushed all the excess oil out the exhuast system and began running as new.

We managed to source the issue and repair her vehicle to once again make it the glorious convertible she once had.

As we understand some customers cant make it to service their vehicles during the week, Auto Repairers Perth offer logbook services on a Saturday as well.

This customer took advantage of this and had his HOLDEN Colorado 2.8 TD serviced with us. The vehicle was serviced with a full comprehensive safety inspection, tyre rotation and balance, oil and filter as well as an engine scan to reset inspection lights and check for unwanted faults codes. During this particular logbook service the air filter and auto transmission filter were changed as well. All transmission filters quoted with new oil.

This customer is a FIFO worker, he returns every so often and because he works so hard he enjoys his down time as well. He gets his vehicle serviced whilst away on holiday.

Staying in contact via email, the vehicle was serviced, front brake pads changed, engine air filter changed, spark plugs changed and engine wash and shine.

On his return, he recieves his vehicle ready for the road. Payment was made via bank transfer and the whole process was easy.

This customer had excessive inner tread wear which brought the tyres to a premature end.

After a fitment of 2 new tyres up front and 4 wheel alignment, the tyres have been given a fighting chance to live their intended life span.
